KOROSHO MARATHON REACHES ITS PEAK WITH JOY

The Korosho Marathon which has been led by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports Hon. Hamis Mwinjuma have finally reached the top with great joy as winners from different parts of the country get their prizes.

This is the third phase of this race which for this year culminated in the Milleneum beach grounds in Mtwara region on October 26, 2024 where the official guest the honorable deputy minister Hamis Mwinjuma has congratulated the Cashewnut Board of Tanzania for its good management.

And the Director General of the Cashewnut Board of Tanzania Mr.  Francis Alfred has thanked Hon. The Deputy Minister for his participation and promised to continue to do more good in the future as Korosho Marathon has been of great help to the whole community.

However when Alfred was explaining about the work done by the Tanzania Cashewnut Board, he thanked the President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for subsidized inputs as it is obvious that they have increased production in this season and thus farmers get a large income through their cashewnuts.

The peak of the Cashew Marathon for this year was on October 26, 2024 and this is the third phase of the Cashew Marathon, where it was firstly launched in 2022 with about 450 people who registered, in 2023 the number of people who registered was 1763 and this year the number of people who registered is more of a thousand people.
