The General Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Gerald Mweli has met for talks with the Italian Ambassador in this country, Hon. Giuseppe Sean Coppola in Dodoma on November 5, 2024.
The leaders have met for identification and to talk about strengthening cooperation in the Agriculture Sector, especially in research matters to stimulate the discovery of various technologies in the sector.
Hon. Ambassador Coppola has explained that Italy is ready to cooperate with Tanzania in strengthening the value chain of the coffee crop.
On his part, Secretary General Mweli thanked Hon. Ambassador Coppola explained that the Ministry of Agriculture has investment opportunities, so he encouraged and invited investors from Italy to invest in the Agriculture Sector in the country; especially in the production areas of agricultural tools such as tractors.
