The agricultural Officers employed by the Cashewnut Board of Tanzania through the BBT Cashewnut program have continued with theoretical and practical training as part of the continuation of their training that began on 13 January, 2025.
The trainings involves an understanding of the best methods of cashewnut cultivation, including the control of pests and diseases through the correct and safe use of pesticides to increase cashewnut production in the country.
Similarly, these officials have acquired practical skills that will help them motivate farmers and communicate with them effectively to improve the cashew crop.
The training is the implementation of the Building a Better Tomorrow (BBT) program that exists in the Ministry of Agriculture in the cashew crop to ensure that these officials have the ability to provide better services to cashew farmers and thus contribute to the growth of their income and the Nation at large.
